Keep Dickinson Beautiful – 2022 Trash Bash

Keep Dickinson Beautiful would like to thank the 118 volunteers for hours of labor-intensive effort removing unsightly litter along the banks of Dickinson bayou and street right-of-ways. On March 26, 2022, at the annual Trash Bash, a Texas waterway cleanup, these 118 amazing youth and adults removed 36,000 lbs of litter and debris, and 228 used/abandoned tires, from miles of bank along Dickinson Bayou and street right-of-way. Thanks to Dickinson Public Works for heavy equipment and tire recycling, and a special thank you to Bill at A.J.’s Meat Market for always agreeing to cook the hundreds of hot dogs for our volunteers. We are so blessed to live in a community where so many of our citizens contribute to making Dickinson the most awesome place in Texas to live, work and play! Thank you ALL for helping to keep Dickinson, and Dickinson Bayou, clean and beautiful!
